Southside Guitars Brooklyn - lists this '54 Esquire with original case and strap. The guitar is all orig except for the switch tip and the back has been contoured sorta like Jeff Beck's Esquire. Must have been the cool thing to do. Top rated seller with cool gear.

eBay seller raa1 is listing this vintage '54 Fender Tweed Deluxe. Doesn't even say if it works or not. They do note that every original part has been saved, if replaced. And they want $3K, cashier's check only (not even PayPal!). This is the only photo too. What a friggin' sales wizard! Makes me wonder if there's anything I might be able to do with that DeSoto fender.
And that wraps up our thoroughly comprehensive view of 1954 for all you history buffs out there! Oh yeah, the Strat was born in '54...
