Every 20 years or so, I feature a Gibson product here. The other day I heard some slick, hip classic rock FM morning jock talkin' about Hendrix's "...Gibson Flying V Stratocaster guitar". And he said it really cool too, even though some engineer was probably blasting, "IDIOT!!!" into his headsets. Ya just gotta keep rollin' you know!
Anyway, a little surf over to eBay reveals a few Hendrix signature Flying V listings these days. And eBay pimp that I am... The Gibson Custom Shop ones with the psychedelic graphic were introduced in '06. Also, there are some plain black Hendrix signature V's. Wide variation in the price pointing too. Miniatures are available as well-- great for the desk, mantle or dashboard-- and could even be easily modified into a groovy bottle opener! That's what I'm talkin' about!
