Ed Reynolds Custom Strat - Push Buttons!

 Push button pickup selection AND blonde finish wooden knobs!

Blues Angel Music of Pensacola, Florida currently lists this very cool find, configured by Eric Johnson's guitar tech Ed Reynolds! According to the seller, Reynolds used an FCS body and Fender USA neck. Pickups are custom. And of course, the most visual hi-lite is the push button pickup selection approach which I much prefer over the mini toggles Tom Anderson sometimes uses. A close up click on the top photo also reveals trans blonde finished wooden knobs.

Although listed as a Seafoam finish, it's clearly Surf. The way to keep this straight is always remember that although the word "foam" is associated with white, you have to go opposite, just like with other Fender dichotomies i.e. amp Tremolo and Vibrato, and also calling a vibrato bridge a "trem". So, Surf is actually more foamy, and Seafoam is more green. Capiche?!!
