Just uploaded at the Fender Youtube channel on 5/20/10, this clip of EJ discussing his RW Artist Strat continues to keep me at least in confusion about the pickup differences from the standard Maple version.
I've just gotta let it go I guess. Bottom line is that an RW is gonna sound & feel different than the maple-- and if you favor the RW's tonal characteristics, at least be sure to try a few more maples because the RW is more $$$.
