Anthony Lococo-- Student of Beck's Guitar Shop!

In this photo, San Diego based musician, Anthony Lococo looks like celebrity carpenter Andrew Dan-Jumbo. But Anthony Lococo's main power tool is his Stratocaster.

Apparently, there's also an Anthony Lococo around San Diego who sells real estate and plays baseball. But we're talkin' Anthony Lococo, the guitar player here folks.

Anthony's myspace page contains some pretty cool guitar work! One tune I especially like is "Beckincallin", a tribute to Jeff Beck, with a little Ed Van Halen scattered in. Currently an unsigned artist, Anthony lists influences:

"Jimi Hendrix, Ritchie Blackmore ( Deep Purple/Rainbow), Eddie Van Halen, Yngwie Malmsteen, Uli Jon Roth, Jeff Beck, Eric Johnson, Allan Holdsworth, Scott Henderson, Michael Schenker, Greg Howe, Eric Gales, SRV, Pat Metheny, Paul Gilbert, J.S. Bach, W.A. Mozart, Ludwig Van Beethoven, Fredryck Chopin, Nicolo Paganini, Puccini, John Carpenter, James Horner"

In addition to his solo projects, Anthony plays in a Deep Purple-Rainbow tribute band. But remember, he's not the guy on Trading Spaces and he won't sell you a house either... strictly guitar, got that?!

Visit him at www.myspace.com/blueroomsounds , Anthony also has an artist page at www.soundclick.com , where you can link to his music download page.
